History Of Kilts
The kilts for sale have an old history that goes back to the 16th century, where there was no concept of a kilt. At that time, the kilt was not a short dress and not designed to cover the bottom part of the men. In the 16th century, the full-length woolen cloth was used to cover not only the bottom part of the body but also cover the whole body including one shoulder.
The woolen cloth came in different colors and this cloth was soft but make you warm in the winter. In that area, this was treated as a dress for poor people because most of the poorer wear this cloth every season. The military men and soldiers also wore this cloth to protect from the enemy during wars.
Ban On woolen cloth
After the 17th century, it was widely worn by the people of different countries which mainly include Scotland and Ireland but in the mid of this century, the government imposed restrictions on wear the woolen cloth. The government announced 6th-month imprisonment and a heavy fine on the people who wear any woolen cloth such as shawls, cushions, pants, hats, etc. This ban lifted in the 18th century and the general public can able to wear any woolen dress in regular routine work.
